Who can live without giveaways? Maybe I’m being overly dramatic. But they are great when you are saving and can’t splurge on the products you want. They also are a way to find new blogs. Let’s get hypothetical here, folks – what if someone has been stalking a site for a nail polish but can never get it? Would it be reasonable for her to find the matte neon blue and yellow-green glitters required to make her holy grail of polish? Hypothetically, it would be. And also hypothetically, let’s say this person has already done this but failed. Now, now, this person isn’t in it for making dupes and cashing in on the success of others – that is not her game. She just wants a teeny bit, just a little taste, that’s all.
None of this matters because it’s all hypothetical 😀 Why am I bringing up Floam by Nail-Venturous again? Well, for the third time in a row, I have missed the restock on NinjaPolish. Actually, I had a feeling that it was coming up soon and it did on the one day that I decided to sleep in. Not that it mattered because I didn’t get an email notification D:

When you hear the word “Floam” and nail polish isn’t the first thing that comes to mind, you need some learnin’. Nail-Venturous is an indie brand of nail polish who makes some really beautiful polishes. One of her more famous polishes is Floam. It has matte blue and green glitter and it looks amazing. It is highly sought after. It looks just like the toy namesake. You need to stalk ninjapolish to know when it’s in stock and beyond that, you need to be lucky because it’s always gone 😦 She had an etsy shop but I think she isn’t selling from there anymore.

There are so many brands of polish to choose from! But how do you know what will be worth it? Usually, I just buy the cheapies and life goes on. But as time goes on in your own nail investigation, you hear about the same brands over and over and you start to get curious – Essie, OPI, China Glaze, etc.
Well, I bring this up because I finally gave in and bought 2 China Glazes. Actually, my bf picked out the colors 🙂 He chose Peachy Keen and Secret Per-Wink-Le. Random choices, but that’s what he liked (you’re probably thinking that I should have just gotten what I wanted but I did. I like those colors and he didn’t force me to choose them :P)
I have no pictures for you now but the reason certain brands pop up often is because they live up to the hype. China Glaze certainly did. Good coverage, nice assortment of colors and ok prices.

Hello, everybody! Since the start of 2012, I have slowly but steadily gotten into nail polish and nail art and now I have decided to start my very own blog. Hopefully, my shoddy camera and less than professional work will make nail art seem more attainable for beginners 😀
